Query Forms
Agave64 provides a complete and powerful set of query functions that allow you to locate specific items quickly and efficiently. Depending on the database, search criteria can be based on a date range, dollar amount, general text, keyword,  reference codes or character patterns. The Fotofile query provides flexibility and power by joining the Codes/Notes and Fotofile caption field to provide results from search criteria entered for either or both databases. This means you will always be able to locate a requested image, even if you remember next to nothing about it. 

Query screens are provided for the Fotofile, Clients, Image Sales History, Accounts Paid, Accounts Receivable and Submission Log databases.

Results Screen 
Agave query forms consist of two screens. The first screen (Fotofile query above) receives search criteria and the second screen displays the query search results, respectively. The Fotofile results screen shown here enables you to Interrogate submission / sales history. You can edit the results and save them for use at a later time. The results can also be printed in three different report styles including one with thumbnails.

Although each database has an associated set of query forms, they all behave in a similar fashion and the controls are generic in nature. 

Speed Test Results
From a Fotofile database containing slightly more the a half million photo captions and searching the caption field using criteria: rainbow OR village,  Agave64 extracted and displayed all matching records (963)  in less than a second. System specs: 1.85 GHz Pentium M with 1 GIG of RAM.
 

Agave64 Quick Search 
The important data screens in Agave64 utilize a quick search field. Simply enter all or part of the client code, slide or document number (depending on the current screen) and press <Enter> to locate that value instantly.  In addition, the major data views support Find / Find Next searches on any field in the database.
